The outbreak of the Corona crisis has now fully affected the labour markets. Rapidly rising unemployment has put the European PES under significant pressure to quickly assist the unemployed. Therefore, the PES had to adapt their service delivery models quickly. Conversion to digital systems to reach their customers when offices were closed, adjustments in the area of unemployment benefits, short-time work programs and provision of digital training courses are the areas that needed rapid adaptation.
